Musical boat waters 2024
This musical festival has been founded on the occasion of the launching of the horse life boat on Ameland. The happy ending of a rescue was usually celebrated with a drink in the local café: The boat watering.
The horse life boat is still active, even though it is only for tourists nowadays. The party still goes on and boat watering is still active. Since 2001 the festival is being held. During this day the orchestras and choirs will present their music on various stages in Hollum. At the end of the day there will be a joint final of all orchestras and choirs. In the evening the various catering facilities will take care of a nice evening with live music.
