Hollumerbos Playground

The Hollumerbos playground is a lovely, natural play area in the Hollumerbos near Hollum, on the western side of Ameland.
What can you expect at Hollumerbos Playground?
The playground is beautifully tucked away among the trees, which makes it fit perfectly into the peaceful woodland and dune surroundings.
Natural play: Not a formal village playground, but a pleasant play area with wooden play equipment, sand under your feet and pine trees all around.
- Climbing and scrambling: Children can have great fun on a lovely climbing course, slides and other play equipment. Younger children and children up to about 12 years old in particular can really enjoy themselves here.
- Shaded and peaceful: Because of its location in the forest, it is often pleasantly sheltered on warm days. Meanwhile, parents can sit for a while on a bench or at the picnic table.
