Every summer, the beach of Hollum on Ameland transforms into a true volleyball paradise during the annual Beach Volleyball Tournament. Since 2003, this event has grown into one of the world's largest beach volleyball tournaments, with over 130 courts and more than 3,000 active players. Whether you're participating or just soaking up the sporting atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

What can you expect at the Beach Volleyball Tournament in Hollum?

• Top-Level Beach Volleyball: From enthusiastic amateurs to the absolute top of the Dutch beach volleyball circuit – everyone takes part! Over the weekend, the best players compete on the Centre Court.
• Summer BeachLife Circuit: The tournament on Ameland is part of the prestigious Summer BeachLife Circuit, featuring more than 80 courts and matches along the Dutch coast, making it one of the biggest events of its kind.
• Play or Watch: Whether you want to join in the action or simply watch the top players from the terrace of Beachclub The Sunset, the choice is yours.
• Beach Tennis & More: In addition to beach volleyball, there’s also beach tennis and plenty of entertainment for all ages. The event offers a sporty and summer experience for everyone.
