Beachcomber Playground

The Juttersspeeltuin is a small, natural play area in the middle of the Hollumerbos near Hollum, on the western side of Ameland. It is a lovely stop for families during a walk through the forest or on the way towards the dunes.
What can you expect at the Juttersspeeltuin?
The Juttersspeeltuin is not a major attraction, but rather one of those charming places where children can burn off a bit of energy. Playful shipwreck: The main play structure is a wooden play unit shaped like a shipwreck. Very fitting for Ameland, beachcombers and the island atmosphere.
- For young children: The playground is especially nice for children up to about 8 years old. They can climb, slide, swing and run around happily among the trees.
- Natural setting: Not a neatly laid out village playground, but a simple play area that blends in beautifully with the Hollumerbos. With sand underfoot, pine trees all around and plenty of fresh outdoor air.
[h2]Practical information
