Hotel Nobel

Hotel Restaurant Nobel is on the Gerrit Kosterweg in Ballum on Ameland. The Nobel family has run the hotel since 1902, now in the fourth generation. It is also home to the famous herbal liqueur Nobeltje.

What can you expect at Hotel Nobel?

• Rooms: There are nineteen rooms and suites, from comfort rooms with terrace or balcony to a comfort plus room with whirlpool and loggia suites. All have a box spring bed and espresso machine. Two church suites are in the former church opposite, and houses and lofts are nearby.
• Food and drink: Restaurant Nobel seats 76 and serves modern dishes with world flavours, café classics and specials such as lobster and oysters. The café has a fireplace and a smoke free terrace.
• Ideal for: Ideal for couples and foodies.

Practical information

• Bikes: Through partner Fietsverhuur Nobel your bike waits at the ferry and your luggage is delivered free. There is no lift. Limited parking is available at the hotel and free parking in Ballum.
• Surroundings: Climb the Ballumer Blinkert, take a dip at De Schalken pool or play a round at the golf course in Hollum.
